    This game got Curley Hallman fired and brought in Gerry DiNardo who actually made LSU competitive again (until 1998 and 1999)

    i was watching this game with a friend in our seminary student center with absolutely nobody around – we thought. We were jumping on furniture and screeming and then all these pastors in suits came out of their meeting…they gave us some odd looks and i just said ‘Auburn/LSU, we just won’ like they should’ve know.
