And now your losing to Clemson again and this time, it’s without Tommy Bowden.
SC has only been in the SEC since ‘92, plenty of teams haven’t won an SEC title since then. UK hasn’t won it since ‘76, Ole Miss hasn’t since ‘63, Miss St. won it once in ‘41. Arkansas has never won it, neither has Vandy. Only 6 out of the 12 teams have won the SEC title in the past 40 years (with exception to UK in ‘76): Tenn, ‘Bama, LSU, Auburn, UGA, and UF. Spurrier inherited an underdog team, he’s only been there for 4 years, it takes time when you play in the toughest conference in the BCS
You lost to those elite SEC teams the majority of those years and tOSU is a lot better than back then (02-03 National champs).
You can gloat about beating Kentucky with their winning record, but gloating about beating Arkansas (almost lost to W. Illionis and LA-Monroe) and Tennesee (who lost at home to Wyoming and @ UCLA)?
Spurrier has a 28-20 record with SCar (15-17 in SEC play) finishing 2nd, 5th, 4th, and 3rd in the east. 1-1 in bowl records and a 1-3record against Clemson. How sad.
listen up little ***** below me. How did they own us in the last 5 years. we only lost to LSU and Georgia by 7 points and in case you didn’t know thats an equivalent to a touchdown. Also the last 2 times we’ve faced ohio state…guess what we beat them. btw we played kentuck and beat them, arkansas we beat, and tennesee team we beat them so go make fun of a team that is actually doing bad when were right in the middle of a good sec divison.
Wake me when SCar actually wins or plays in an SEC title game. The elite SEC teams over the last 5 years have owned the Gamecocks. You wouldn’t have a shot against Ohio State because you can’t even beat Vandy now (who lost at home to lowly Duke) and Clemson. Just be happy you avoided Bama and got Kensucky, Arky and a horrible Tenn team. LSU looks horrible this year, ask Troy.
That’s pretty big talk for somebody whose team lost to Vandy twice in a row and to Clemson on a yearly basis.
