For TIGERSPORTSZONE.NET
After a 30 point loss to Florida, some LSU fans are acting like its is the end of the world. But like last year showed us, it’s only ONE loss. The season is not over and there is no reason to abandon ship.
So what’s it gonna be LSU fans…are you in, or out…

First congrats to LSU for a great season you left a lot of people on the edge of their seats and it was worth it at the end. Thanks to Blades, Daquano, and James D. for all of the video. And special thanks to Saliva for the music. I heard this song and it describes the season perfectly. Sorry it took so long to get this on I had to do this one right, enjoy.

Authentic collectible sports available on the various websites and sport good stores are a rage and have created a revolution among sports lovers. These include the sports jerseys, caps, jackets and even shoes at times. The authentic collectible sports products has a market of its own consisting of sports fans, people who aspire to become like a particular player and those who want to have a piece of history with them to cherish and reminisce the moment. There are some goods available of players of earlier decades who today are legends in their sport. This applies to basketball, base ball and every other sport played in the world. The trend of buying sports collectible is high in the western part of the world where a few selected sports are worshiped and players are celebrities. Even tennis and golf are highly respected and any T shirt or cap with Tiger woods would be an instant sell out. If a player has been winning many tournaments or has been popular, his face will appear the most.

Right from when a person is a child, they get into the habit of collecting something or the other. For music lovers, they indulge in buying Cd’s and posters of their favorite singers. Similarly, cricket lovers will hold posters, pictures, autographed bats of their team. This is a pattern that will grow with a person and he gets older, he will spend more on these products. For some it becomes an obsession and they fight with others to have a jersey or cap. If a cap or wrist band is out of supply, they will go to lengths of getting in touch with the manufacturer to check on how long it will take to make some more. As long as a person knows what they are doing and is in control of their spending on such materials, it is normal. Once they cross the line, they need to stop themselves else it will affect their lives and at times have an adverse effect on their families.

The 500th home run by Jim Thorne, or Tiger woods autographed picture are all part of the authentic collectible sports. Toys featuring leading football teams, or a set of poker cards with NBA teams on it are all items that people enjoy buying and collecting. Baseball trading cards are what draws the most number of buyers, especially those between 10-15 years of age. They are seen to trade cards with their friends or take up bets just so they can get their hands on a card that is rare. Moments considered special, or historic moments are all depicted on various authentic collectible sports and are high on demand by the public before and after a match. But if a team that a person is supporting loses the match, they might consider going back to the website to sell the products they bought as their loyalties might could change. It is therefore wise to contact a site that is authentic

The LSU offense is stacked. There is an abundance of talent at the running back and receiver positions. The Tigers also have an experienced and talented offensive line. But who will be under center? Ryan Perrilloux, MVP of the SEC title game, was dismissed from the team for repeated team rules violations. The guys behind Perrilloux on the depth chart, Jarrett Lee and Andrew Hatch, have basically no experience at this level.

The LSU running game looks to be a three-headed monster. Keiland Williams (478 yards, 6 touchdowns), Charles Scott (439 total yards, 7 touchdowns) and Richard Murphy (304 total yards, 2 touchdowns) all figure to play a significant role in the LSU rushing attack.

The Tigers also have one of the best receiver tandems in the nation. Brandon LaFell and speedy Demetrius Byrd combined for 85 receptions, 1,277 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. Tight end Richard Dickson is another great receiving threat.

With four starters back this season, LSU boasts one of the most experienced offensive lines in the SEC. Left tackle Ciron Black, left guard Herman Johnson and center Brett Helms have All-SEC talent.

There is plenty of depth along the defensive line. Tyson Jackson and Kirston Pittman are the returning starters at the ends. They’ll get help from Rahim Alem and Ricky Jean-Francois, the defensive MVP of the BCS Championship Game. Jean-Francois, Marlon Favorite and Charles Alexander lead the rotation inside. Al Woods and Drake Nevis could also see significant action.

Middle linebacker Darry Beckwith played the last few games of 2007 with an injured shoulder, but still recorded 65 tackles in 12 games. Beckwith will have a new starter on each side. Perry Riley, Kelvin Sheppard and Jacob Cuttera will be competing for the two starting outside linebacker jobs.

In the secondary, free safety Curtis Taylor is the lone returning starter. Nickel back Danny McCray is also back for 2008. Chad Jones and Harry Coleman will compete for time at strong safety. There will also be a lot of competition for the two starting cornerback spots. Chris Hawkins, Jai Eugene, Patrick Johnson and Brandon Taylor are all in the mix.

Senior kicker Colt David is back. David converted all 63 extra-point tries last season and also connected on 26-of-33 field goal attempts. All-SEC punter Patrick Fisher is gone. Senior Brady Dalfrey is Fisher’s likely replacement.

The defending national champs will have a tough row to hoe this year. With a question mark at quarterback and a schedule that will have them playing at Auburn and Florida, as well as a home game against Georgia, this could be a two- or three-loss season for the Tigers. Another national title run doesn’t appear likely. A BCS bowl game for LSU should be viewed as a successful season.

Reading saw off rock-bottom Crewe to set a 31-match unbeaten record for the second tier of English football. Reading have not lost a league match since their opening day defeat against Plymouth and even at 2/5 will have had plenty of support from punters. Crewe managed to take the lead after 14 minutes but found themselves 3-1 behind at the break, with Reading edging the match 4-3 at full time.

Leeds United maintained their position in third place with a 2-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers. Leeds, who had won their last three fixtures at Elland Road, could be backed at 4/6 and goals from Richard Cresswell and Paul Butler sealed all three points.

Aki Riihilahti marked his first start for Crystal Palace since September with the winning goal against Cardiff City. Palace, at 4/5 took the lead after 70 minutes and an equaliser for Cameron Jerome was disallowed for an earlier foul.

Preston were the only play-off team to slip up, being held to a goalless draw at Stoke. North End, now unbeaten in 22 matches, will have disappointed backers at 7/5 after Paul McKenna missed a penalty with three minutes remaining.

Luton let an early lead against visitors Hull slip, with the Tigers winning at large 10/3 odds. Keith Keane gave Mike Newell’s side the lead after eight minutes but Hull fought back with goals from Stuart Elliott, Daryl Duffy and Jon Parkin to lead 3-1 at half time. Chris Coyne headed in a second for Luton with four minutes left to set up a tense finale.

Managerless Leicester edged out of the bottom three with an unlikely 9/5 win over play-off chasers Wolves. Matty Fryatt’s goal in the 70 minute earned the Foxes their first back-to-back victory of the season and their first home win in six attempts.

Sheffield Wednesday boosted their battle against the drop with a win at Millwall. Frank Simek’s goal secured a win for the Owls at 2/1 and sees them four points clear of relegation.

On Sunday, the “Old Farm” derby between Norwich and Ipswich produced an away win at tasty 11/4 odds. On loan Jonatan Johansson opened the scoring on his Canaries debut after 33 minutes but Jimmy Juan equalised five minutes later. The match ended in controversy as Danny Haynes appeared to use his hand to bundle in the ball although the goal was officially given as a Gary Doherty own goal.
