Ole Miss was good, but not good enough to keep it close against T. Tech in a few weeks.
What happened to LSU other than terrible QB play from Lee, and Hatch?
Jefferson should be the future, and that D needs their rest because they stay on the field too long, and it didn’t show that much last season, but this year with no Steltz, Jackson, or Dorsey, it caught up with them, but they also lose some horses on D next season as well, don’t they?
I say LSU finishes 9+ wins next year. I’m a little worried about Ole Miss, but I don’t see them winning the SEC West. But they will have another upset game next year probably.
If LSU stays healthy they could be playing a BCS game next year, possibly the Sugar Bowl.
Too much speed coming in there next season.
The SEC West is going to be great and just a 2 team race, with Ole Miss hanging in there for about 8 weeks, but they will falter and Ark. is not about much, but could be good.
LSU is going to a New Year’s Day bowl, guaranteed, if healthy next year, and possibly playing after the 1st.
Yeah you got a point. LSU does have a lot of speed. But I think Florida owned that this year.
LSU commit list: Three 5 stars, Twelve 4 stars, five 3 stars and one 2 star. 10 of those players run a 4.4 to 4.7 in the forty. Not bad if you ask me.
The SEC West should be fun to watch next year.
First off I live in Talladega, but am from Anniston, so I rep. the fact that I live in Bama, but I am a Michigan fan overall.
‘Bama has a great Coach, and the best freshman WR of the last 10 or so years, as far as I can tell, and Freshmen can change a lot, just ask anyone who got burned by Julio, or runover by Ingram.
They do lose a lot, but they have their QB, and RB, and all LSU does is recruit speed, and you can’t teach that, so all those teams that beat them in ‘08, won’t in ‘09.
I’ve seen them. And yes, LSU has a great recruiting class. They are #4 on average in recruiting. But I thought recruiting didn’t matter and that freshmen wouldn’t change anything when Alabama had the #1 recruting class. Does it only count for LSU? Look at what our freshmen class did this year. They beat out seniors and juniors for their spots and went 12-1 and are headed to the Sugar Bowl.
But LSU will be better next year.
Has anyone who is hating on LSU seen their recruiting class yet?
Those guys will not lose 5 games next year, not even close–they should win around 9 or 11 games, depending on if they start Jordan instead of Lee, because they are right back in the thick of it next year, and should challenge Bama in the West.
On probation for 2 of those years and searching for a coach worth a ****. Oh yeah, we also had a 10-2 season in there. We had 3 bad seasons out of 4. But we are done with that. I make no excuses for it. I accept it and have moved on. I still hope one day that LSU fans can move on from Saban. He left you guys for the Miami Dolphins, not Alabama. Here’s how it went: LSU, Dolphins, Alabama. Get it? I can’t go any slower. You guys already have another National Title, get over it.
The SEC is a great conference.
If they were in the ACC or Big Ten theyd win the conference.
